Serving others is at the core of our mission and values.

We are proud of our countless teammates who invest their time and energy in serving their communities.

Inspired by our physicians and teammates who have engaged in medical missions, we created the SCA Medical Missions program to make medical missions opportunities more available to our physicians and teammates.

The SCA Teammate Support Network was created to help our teammates in times of hardship or disaster. This program, led by volunteer administrators from across the county, is one way that we live our value of teamwork within the SCA Community.

Giving Example

A Values Hero and teammate for 20 years was diagnosed with lung cancer that metastasized to her brain. The teammate has since passed away and the TSN matched funds raised by the center to help her family cover unexpected costs.

Giving Example

A teammate’s home caught fire and they lost almost everything to smoke, fire and water damage. The TSN matched center funds to provide this teammate with assistance in refurnishing their home.

The SCA Community Service Foundation awards grants to teammates who take an active, personal role in community service programs. The grants are approved by SCA Administrators and funded by SCA and the Hayek Family Foundation.

Giving Example

A grant was awarded to a teammate and her family who participated in cooking and serving meals each month to 1,300 homeless people. The grant enabled them to repair a dishwasher, purchase a commercial oven, and replace worn out pots, pans, and utensils.

SCA is active within the communities in which we serve. Through the efforts of our teammates, we are able to support national and local charitable organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, Susan G. Komen, and Toys for Tots.
