Tim serves as a Senior Vice President of Development. Prior to SCA, Tim served as Vice President of Business Development at CVS Health and as a Partner with Tullis-Dickerson (a mid-sized, healthcare focused family of private equity funds). Tim earned a Bachelor of Arts from Connecticut College.
Joe joined SCA in 2005 and serves as an Executive Vice President focused on guiding the company’s strategy and development. Prior to SCA, Joe served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of HealthMark Partners, Inc. (a surgery center and surgical hospital provider), and as Chief Executive Officer of Response Oncology (an oncology provider). Joe worked previously for Humana and American Medical International (hospital providers), and earned a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College.
Bill serves as a Group President. Prior to SCA, Bill was a Partner at Linden, a healthcare private equity firm with over $1 billion of assets under management, and served as a Principal at The Boston Consulting Group. Bill received a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
Christian serves as a Group President. Prior to SCA, Christian served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development for Health Inventures (a surgical and physician services company), Director of Development for Johnson and Johnson Health Care Systems, and as a senior consultant to the healthcare industry with Arthur Andersen. Christian earned a Bachelor of Science from Penn State University and an MBA from George Mason University.
Anne serves as our Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Advanced Surgical Hospital. Anne joined the SCA community in 2015 as the CEO of Advanced Surgical Hospital in Washington, PA. Prior to joining SCA, Anne worked as the Vice President of Washington Hospital in Washington, PA. Anne is a registered nurse (RN) and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Carlow College, and her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Pittsburgh.
Andrew has served as our Chief Executive Officer since 2008. Prior to joining SCA, Andrew served as the President of a division of DaVita Healthcare Partners (a renal dialysis and medical group provider), as President and Chief Operating Officer of Alliance Healthcare Services (a diagnostic imaging and radiation therapy provider), and in roles at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (a global investment firm) and the Boston Consulting Group (a global management consulting firm). Andrew is a Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute and serves as Chairman of One World Surgery (a surgical mission program). Andrew also serves as Chief Executive Officer of OptumHealth, one of three segments of Optum and the one that includes SCA. Andrew earned a Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude from Yale University.
Tony serves as a Group President. Prior to SCA, he served as a Division Vice President of Operations for Apria Healthcare (a home healthcare products and services company). Tony earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland.
Mark serves as a Senior Vice President of Development. Prior to SCA, Mark served as Senior Vice President of Operations for HealthMark Partners, Inc. (a surgery center and surgical hospital provider) and as Area Operations Manager for HealthSouth (diagnostic imaging division). Mark earned a Bachelor of Science from The University of Tennessee.
Winborne serves as our Senior Vice President of Sales and Market Development. Prior to SCA, Winborne served as a Division Vice President of Operations for Apria Healthcare (a home healthcare products and services company). Winborne earned a Bachelor of Arts from Meredith College.
Brian joined SCA in 2009 and serves as our Chief Development Officer leading our strategy, payer engagement and development teams. Prior to SCA, Brian served as a Manager at Blue Ridge Partners (a boutique revenue growth strategy consulting firm) and as an Assistant Analyst in the Macroeconomics Division of the Congressional Budget Office. Brian serves on the board of the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Emory University, where he was a Phi Beta Kappa honoree, and an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia.
Cory serves as a Chief Financial Officer of SCA. Prior to SCA, Cory led the development of an analytical systems platform for a private equity portfolio company and worked in the M&A division of a southeastern investment banking group. Cory earned a Bachelor of Science from The University of Alabama.
Rich joined SCA in 2007 and serves as our Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Prior to joining SCA, Rich was a partner at Bradley Arant Rose & White, LLP (now Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP), where he represented a variety of clients in the healthcare industry. Rich earned a Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia.
Jason serves as a Group President. Jason originally joined SCA's Finance Department in 2008, supporting SCA's facilities in Southern California, before moving into Operations. Prior to SCA, Jason served as Director of Revenue Reporting at HealthSouth for the Inpatient, Outpatient, and Surgery Divisions. Jason earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from The University of Alabama and a Masters of Science in Finance from Boston College.
Caitlin serves as our Chief Administrative Officer and leads our revenue cycle, financial shared services, and human resources teams.. Prior to SCA, Caitlin served as Senior Vice President Operations, Revenue Cycle Services for MedAssets (a healthcare performance improvement company). Caitlin worked previously as a Senior Consultant at CBIZ, Inc. (a national professional services company) and as a Managed Care Analyst at Atlantic Health System. Caitlin earned a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University and a Masters of Public Health and Health Management from Columbia University.
