Tim Buono

Senior Vice President, Development

Tim joined SCA in 2013 and serves as a senior vice president, development. Prior to SCA, he was vice president of business development at CVS Health and a partner with Tullis-Dickerson (a mid-sized, health care–focused family of private equity funds). Tim earned a Bachelor of Arts from Connecticut College.

Marie Edler

Senior Vice President, Strategy and Payer Engagement

Marie joined SCA in 2011 and serves as senior vice president, strategy and payer engagement. Prior to SCA, she served as director of reimbursement policy for the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association (the national ASC association and lobbying group). Before ASCA, Marie served as vice president of managed care and compliance for Specialty Surgicenters Inc. She earned her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Public Health from Emory University.

Anne Hast

Chief Nursing Officer

Anne joined SCA in 2015 and serves as chief nursing officer of SCA and chief executive officer of Advanced Surgical Hospital. Prior to SCA, she worked as the vice president of Washington Hospital in Washington, Pennsylvania. Anne is a registered nurse (RN) and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Carlow College and her Master of Science in Nursing and Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Pittsburgh.

Tony Kilgore

Chief Executive Officer

Tony joined SCA in 2011 and has held the chief executive officer position since 2018. He previously served as group president in addition to leading the enterprise clinical team. Prior to SCA, Tony was division vice president of operations for Apria Healthcare (a home health care products and services company). He earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland.

Mark Langston

Chief Development Officer

Mark joined SCA in 2005 and serves as chief development officer. Prior to SCA, Mark was senior vice president of operations for HealthMark Partners, Inc. (a surgery center and surgical hospital provider) and area operations manager for HealthSouth (diagnostic imaging division). Mark earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Tennessee.

Bill Linder

Group Vice President

Bill joined SCA in 2014 and serves as a group vice president. Prior to SCA, he was vice president of sales at Harden Healthcare (a home health care products and services company) and division president of sales at Apria Healthcare (a home health care products and services company). Bill earned a Bachelor of Science from Monmouth University and his MBA from DePaul University.

Winborne Macphail

Group President

Winborne joined SCA in 2011 and serves as a group president, leading the sales and market development team. Prior to SCA, she was a division vice president of operations for Apria Healthcare (a home health care products and services company). Winborne earned a Bachelor of Arts from Meredith College.

Brian Mathis

Executive Vice President

Brian joined SCA in 2009 and serves as executive vice president of SCA and chief strategy officer for OptumCare. Prior to SCA, he was a manager at Blue Ridge Partners (a boutique, revenue growth strategy consulting firm) and an assistant analyst in the macroeconomics division of the Congressional Budget Office. Brian serves on the board of the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Emory University, where he was a Phi Beta Kappa honoree, and an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.

Dan Murrey

Chief Medical Officer, Specialty Practice Division for SCA & OptumCare

Dan joined SCA and OptumCare in 2018. He serves as chief medical officer of the specialty practice division for SCA and OptumCare. An orthopedic spine surgeon, Dan was previously a founder and chief executive officer of OrthoCarolina (one of the largest orthopedic practices in the country). Dan earned a Bachelor of Arts from Davidson College, Master of Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and his MD from Harvard Medical School.

Jack Pocorobba

Group Vice President

Jack joined SCA in 2010 and serves as group vice president. Prior to SCA, he spent six years directing facilities in the highly regulated skilled nursing industry. He has 14 years of experience working in health care leadership. Jack earned a Bachelor of Science from Arcadia University.

Daniel Riggs

Group Vice President

Daniel joined SCA in 2015 and serves as a group vice president. Prior to SCA, he was market vice president for Apria Healthcare (a home health care products and services company), where he led sales and operations. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Charleston Southern University.

Julie Roberts

Group Vice President

Julie joined SCA in 2018 and serves as a group vice president. Prior to SCA, she spent 20 years working in health care operations and strategy, as well as management consulting. Julie served in the United States Navy for six years. She earned a Bachelor of Science from the United States Naval Academy and received her MBA from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.

Rich Sharff

Executive Vice President and General Counsel

Rich joined SCA in 2007 and serves as the executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. Prior to SCA, he was a partner at Bradley Arant Rose & White, LLP (now Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP), where he represented a variety of clients in the health care industry. Rich earned a Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia.

Jason Strauss

Chief Operating Officer

Jason joined SCA in 2008 and serves as chief operating officer. Prior to SCA, he was director of revenue reporting at HealthSouth for the inpatient, outpatient and surgery divisions. Jason earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from The University of Alabama and a Master of Science in Finance from Boston College.

Leslie Wachsman

Group Vice President, Finance

Leslie joined SCA in 2012 and serves as group vice president, finance. Prior to SCA, she served as vice president of finance at CVS Health. Leslie earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Kansas and an Executive MBA with a concentration in Finance from Lake Forest College.

Anthony Williams

Vice President and Chief Information Officer

Anthony joined SCA in 2018 and serves as vice president and chief information officer. Prior to SCA, he was chief information officer at American Family Care (one of the largest, urgent care providers in the U.S.) and was responsible for the overall planning, organization and execution of all IT-related functions. Anthony received a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa and an Executive MBA from Auburn University.

Chip Zahn

Group President

Chip joined SCA in 2013 and serves as a group president. Prior to SCA, he was chief operating officer at Las Colinas Medical Center (an HCA facility). Chip received his Bachelor of Science in Management from University of Alabama and Master of Health Administration from Tulane University.

Caitlin Zulla

Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer

Caitlin joined SCA in 2015 and serves as chief administrative officer and chief financial officer, leading the finance, human resources, revenue cycle, supply chain and information technology teams. Prior to SCA, she was senior vice president operations of revenue cycle services for MedAssets (a health care performance-improvement company). Caitlin worked previously as a senior consultant at CBIZ, Inc. (a national professional services company) and as a managed care analyst at Atlantic Health System. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University, and a Master of Public Health and Health Management from Columbia University.
