Prior to SCA, Tim served as vice president of business development at CVS Health and as a partner with Tullis-Dickerson (a mid-sized, health care-focused family of private equity funds). Tim earned a Bachelor of Arts from Connecticut College.

Joe joined SCA in 2005 and serves as an executive vice president focused on guiding the company’s strategy and development. Prior to SCA, Joe served as the president and chief executive officer of HealthMark Partners, Inc. (a surgery center and surgical hospital provider) and as chief executive officer of Response Oncology (an oncology provider). Joe worked previously for Humana and American Medical International (hospital providers) and earned a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College.

Bill joined SCA in 2016 and serves as a group president. Prior to SCA, Bill was a partner at Linden, a health care private equity firm with over $1 billion of assets under management and a principal at the Boston Consulting Group (a global management consulting firm). Bill received a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Marie Edler
Group Vice President, Payer Engagement and Advocacy

Marie joined SCA in 2011 and serves as group vice president, payer engagement and advocacy. Prior to joining SCA, Marie served as director of reimbursement policy for the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association (ASCA), (the national ASC association and lobbying group). Before ASCA, Marie served as vice president of managed care and compliance for Specialty Surgicenters Inc. She earned her Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Public Health from Emory University.

Christian joined SCA in 2013 and serves as group president. Prior to SCA, Christian served as senior vice president of corporate development for Health Inventures (a surgical and physician services company), director of development for Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems and as senior consultant to the health care industry with Arthur Andersen. Christian earned a Bachelor of Science from Penn State University and an MBA from George Mason University.

Anne joined SCA in 2015 and serves as chief nursing officer of SCA and chief executive officer (CEO) of Advanced Surgical Hospital. Prior to joining SCA, Anne worked as the vice president of Washington Hospital in Washington, Pennsylvania. Anne is a registered nurse (RN) and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Carlow College and her Master of Science in Nursing and Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Pittsburgh.

Andrew Hayek
Chief Executive Officer, OptumHealth

Andrew served as SCA’s chief executive officer from 2008 to 2018 and now serves as chief executive officer of OptumHealth, a platform of health care delivery and services businesses that includes SCA. Prior to joining SCA, Andrew served as the president of a division of DaVita Healthcare Partners (a renal dialysis and medical group provider), as president and chief operating officer of Alliance Healthcare Services (a diagnostic imaging and radiation therapy provider), and in roles at Kohlberg Kravis Robert & Co. (a global investment firm) and the Boston Consulting Group (a global management consulting firm). Andrew is a Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute and serves as Chairman of One World Surgery (a surgical missions program). Andrew earned a Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude from Yale University.

Brian serves on the board of the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Emory University, where he was a Phi Beta Kappa honoree, and an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia.

Prior to joining SCA, Rich was a partner at Bradley Arant Rose & White, LLP (now Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP), where he represented a variety of clients in the health care industry. Rich earned a Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia.

Caitlin worked previously as a senior consultant at CBIZ, Inc. (a national professional services company) and as a managed care analyst at Atlantic Health System. Caitlin earned a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University and a Masters of Public Health and Health Management from Columbia University.
